2012
1/18 Last August Fudo had some bad luck ad he got a quite bad wound to his left front leg night before Tervakoski International Show. We spent half of the night in vet clinic to get him stitched. Healing process didn't also go as smoothly as it could've. After first stiches were removed, the wound opened when we got home and we have to get back to the vet and she stitched him again. Then we were extra careful and finally the wound healed. But that's why we didn't get to go on anywhere last fall. This year's first show was more of a happy one! We were in Kajaani International last Sunday. Fudo was 2nd Best Male, got his second CC and res-CACIB which becomes CACIB, because Best Male is already C.I.B.
And also Fudo was #2 TOP MALE in Finnish Collie Associations subdivision of Ostrobothnias "Show Collie of 2011"-competition

8/22 Last Saturday was first time this year when I went to dog show with both dogs! In Kokkola group show our judge was rough collie breeder Eva Eriksson from Sweden. Fudo got EXC2 and Kawa VG. I handled both of them myself and didn't screw anything up - at least not very badly. Maybe some day I will master dog handling and my nerves! ;)
8/15 Week ago on sunday August 7th Fudo was shown in Kuopio international to judge Marit Sunde, Norway. He got EXC 1. Thanks again Mirja for handling him! :)
7/6 Last weekend Fudo got VG from Zorica Salijevic, Sweden in Kokkola international dog show. I handled him myself and it just wasn't good. Why I have to be so nervous every time, I don't get it! :P Well, maybe some day ;)
July 17. Fudo and me will go try herding, I'm excited to see how that goes... :D
5/29 Today was cold and rainy show day at Tuuri but it was all worth it! Fudo got his first CC and was 2nd best Male. I was so delighted that I almost forgot to get our trophy from the office :D Luckily breeder-"mom" took care of me again! ;) And again BIG thank you to Mirja for handling Fudo so amazingly! :)
5/20 Last weekend Fudo and I participated in two group shows. First at Äänekoski we got VG and in Sunday at Viitasaari Fudo got EXC, CQ and res CC being 3rd Best Male. Fudo's brother Basti got CC in both days and sister Tilli got also res CC in Viitasaari. Goldlady's smooth collies also were BOB and BIS 2 in breeder class. Participants were Fudo, brother Basti (G. Sebastian), sister Tilli (G. Sweet Juliet) and aunt Siiri (G. Ginger'n Spice) Congratulations one more time Arja and Simo! And thank you again Mirja & Minna Manninen for handling Fudo! :)

4/24 Friday April 22nd Fudo showed in Lahti International dog show. Result EXC1, CQ. Thank you very much to Mirja Manninen for handling Fudo. I was so nervous again! Also Fudo's sister Tilli got Excellent. :)

1/30 Today we were in group show at Alavus. Result was Can Not Be Judged. Critique would've been good, but Kawa apparently strained her left front leg because of the cold air and limped a bit in the ring.
7/20 Last weekend both dogs showed up in Ylivieska international dog show. It was Fudos show debut and I was really proud of him, though he was quite nervous in the ring. Big thank you to Kati for handling him! :)
